✦ Project Concept
We often use speech to shape how we present ourselves. But what if the sound of our voice — its pitch, tempo, and emotional tone — could speak for us in a different way?
This project captures vocal data and pairs it with psychological classification models (inspired by MBTI and emotion-tone spectrums), generating a personalized fashion-based visual output.
It is both a data-driven performance and a soft critique of how identity is shaped, visualized, and simplified.
✦ Technology & Interaction Design
Voice Input Module: Users speak a prompt like “Who am I?”, and the system records vocal traits — pitch, modulation, speed.
Psychological Matching: An algorithm categorizes voice features into personality descriptors like “quietly intense” or “playful chaotic”.
Visual Translation: These profiles are transformed into visual fashion images via projected light, transparent layered fabrics, or printed garment prototypes.
Multi-user Dynamic Output: When multiple people speak at once, the system generates hybrid “multi-personality garments” — a wearable collage of human complexity.

Clothing as Language: Garments here are not merely decorative — they function as data carriers, translating inner states into outer forms.
Performing the Self: The project critiques homogenized beauty standards on social media, instead celebrating plural, shifting, emotional bodies.
Exhibition as Social Space: In physical exhibitions, viewers actively “try on” their personality visuals, creating moments of intimacy, reflection, and shared experience.

Deconstructing Personality Models: While using psychological tags, the project also critiques the systemization of human emotion into boxes.

在日常交流中,我们习惯用语言描述自我,却常常忽略“声音本身”所承载的情绪、节奏与力量。
声音,是一种被忽视的身体语言。
本项目将声音作为输入,通过声音频率、语速与情绪谱系进行分析,并结合心理人格标签模型(如MBTI、情绪调性光谱),生成一套可穿戴的图像化服饰投影。
它既是一种数据叙事实验,也是一种对于“公众标签”与“身份单一化”的干预。

声音采集模块:用户对装置说出如“我是谁”之类的问题,系统采集其频率、语调波动与音色。
心理匹配模型:将声音参数与预设心理类型匹配,生成如“敏感细腻”“内倾沉静”等标签。
图像转译输出:将人格维度转译为视觉符号,投影至模特或屏幕,或转印为服饰图案。
动态反馈机制:多用户同时输入声音时,系统将生成“多重人格拼接服饰”,表达身份的混合与共生。
